Every now and then

I get to be a five year old.
I get to play with crayons,
and draw flowers and rainbows,
I walk around the park,
have tea parties with no alcohol.

I get to sit down in tiny tables,
and eat out of tiny utensils
and neglect my vegetables
and always ask for more juice.

Every now and then,
I get to run around without any troubles.
I get to sing about some rosies
and then ring around 'em

Well
you see,
every now and then,
I get to forget you
And forget that,
and all that crap
I get to count one fish
two fish
red fish
blue fish.
I get to be a child again.
